Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
A person with this state is characterized that has excessive, uncontrollable and often irrational worry, fears and apprehensions about minor things – harm affecting them or loved ones, such as, financial disaster, their health, work or personal relationships that is disproportionate to the real source of worry. They worry so much they can’t relax or fall asleep. They feel light-headed, short of breath, nauseous, and may also experience fatigue, fidgeting, trembling, muscle tension, headaches, irritability, or sweating, numbness in hands and feet, swallowing difficult.
Researchers believe that people who have low self-esteem and poor coping skills may be prone to anxiety disorders. These symptoms must be consistent and on going.
